Super Star Search Begins, are you the one?

Are you ready for your big break? On March 14 the My Nova Scotia regional tourism campaign will launch with a television commercial featuring Percy Paris, Minister of Economic and Rural Development and Tourism, encouraging all Nova Scotians to audition.

We need your help in finding those talented individuals in your community who can look into a camera and tell us what they love most about Nova Scotia – their favourite hidden gems, excursions and events.  Maybe that person is you, or someone you know. It is an amazing opportunity for all Nova Scotians to showcase their talents and share their personal thoughts on why Nova Scotia is the best place to be this summer.
My Nova Scotia campaign auditions – coming to a venue near you.

If you don’t have access to a video camera or a webcam – don’t worry – we’ll come to you! The Tourism Division will be hitting the road in the My Nova Scotia audition bus beginning April 4th in Yarmouth to encourage people to audition.

A list of venues will be available shortly and we certainly welcome your suggestions.

All videos will be received through novascotia.com and made available to the public. This contest is open to all legal residents of Nova Scotia and professional actors will not be excluded.

This is a great opportunity to invite new visitors to Nova Scotia and build momentum for the amazing tourism experiences we have to offer this year.
